Programs

Volunteer

https://www.bemyeyes.com – Be the eyes for a visually impaired individual! When they need help seeing something, they can request help from their mobile app which will contact a sighted volunteer to answer the call and assist the visually impaired individual. The app is international and multilingual as well.

Recycle

https://www.bauschcontactlenses.com/recycling/ – Consider recycling your contact lenses (and definitely do not flush them down the toilet or the sink drain) to help our environment.

Prevent

http://www.infantsee.org – Bring your infant or share this program with someone you know who has just had a child for a free vision screening to detect diseases like retinoblastoma (a malignant eye cancer found in infants with high mortality rate) and amblyopia (which may result in children never developing proper vision). Vision is not fully developed in infants when they are born and continues to develop until age 10. This program is meant to help catch any visual and binocular problems early on in infants so their vision can develop properly, as common misconception is that children don't need eye exams until things start to seem "blurry".
